2024 COUNTY CORRECTIONS POLICE PROMOTIONAL EXAM PREP COURSE INFORMATION.

A course that assists you in preparing for the "NEW" upcoming County Corrections Police Promotional Exam is tentatively scheduled to start in January 2024. Classes will be given on a dual schedule, mornings or evenings. The class size will be limited to only (8) eight students per session and held at my home/office location, 4 Brianna Court, in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, NJ, just one mile off of Interstate 295, Exit 65-A and 15 minutes from the NJ Turnpike. All aspects of the NJ Civil Service County Corrections Police Promotional Exam will be covered during this course including items such as Title 10-A, Chapter 31, Written Communication/Report Writing, Interpersonal Skills, Situational Judgment, Supervision, NJ Attorney General Guidelines, and the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA). If you are preparing for County Corrections Police Sergeant, Lieutenant or Captain titles, consider preparing properly since those who do will succeed. My courses have the best results since many times my students score the highest in the State. Normally classes meet every week until your actual exam, which is tentatively scheduled for May 2024. This test has changed considerably since your last exam. NJ Civil Service is indicating that this "new" exam may be administered on a computer. We will prepare for both types of testing during my program. During the months of January, February, March, and April classes are normally held once per week with a backup snow day. In the past, class times have been 8am to 12noon or 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM on week days, however those times may be decided based upon the students attending and their work schedules. I will try and accommodate everyone if possible. Other prep course companies hold classes on weekends or on line. That may work for you but experience has shown that students attending my class do better and score higher. Your promotion is the single most important factor and proper preparation, including repetition, is the KEY to your success. This program offers the most intensive way to prepare that works. My prior students are my best advertisement since they believe that what I do is the best way to prepare for the upcoming exam, that is why they return to my program and prepare for the next higher rank. The hours spent is a small investment in your career and because I use a teach, test and review approach, it allows me to monitor your results and offer ideas on how to improve on an individual basis since we get to know one another personally.

Your exam is tentatively scheduled to be given in May 2024. Having classes over a longer period of time (four months) allows for all topics to be covered sufficiently. This upcoming class is tentatively scheduled to start the first week in January 2024, either on Mondays or Wednesdays. Should we receive significant snow, then Tuesday or Friday as a backup snow day may be possible. Attendance at all classes will be the only way to prepare properly. Those who miss classes might not score as high as others. Private (one on one) training might be available for those with "special" circumstances and only if my schedule allows for it.

Because space is always limited and fills up quickly, I offer a FREE four-hour session so that we can meet and discuss plans and give you the opportunity to ask questions and decide if what I am proposing is best for you. Once class starts, you only pay for the class that you actually attend and on the day you attend. The tuition for any session is based upon the number of students attending. If eight students attend, the tuition is only $25 per person. If you attend all 16 sessions with the class size being 8, the amount for the four months is only $400, which is half of what I used to charge ($845). I'm doing it this way because of health concerns and I only want to be paid for classes given to you. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required so that those who are serious about participating, will secure their seat and so that the necessary course materials can be provided. Should you decide that you want to join my training and secure your seat immediately, then you can pay that non-refundable deposit during this session and you will receive some course materials which will help you prepare right away. This is NOT required. Everything will be explained and agreed upon at the first FREE seminar which you must attend since a practice Title 31 exam will be administered and discussed during week one. Act quickly since receipt of your $200 non-refundable deposit guarantees you a spot in my training. Everything is done on a first come - first serve basis. If you snooze - you lose!

No matter what, you will need an up-to-date copy of your Administrative Code (Title 10-A, Chapter 31) and should consider ordering a copy through the company who is authorized to produce it. That company is Lexis-Nexis Publications and, in the past, they have agreed to offer my students a 20% discount plus free shipping, so long as you order it by email to Tinio, Virgilio Jr. C at virgilio.tinio@lexisnexis.com. Provide them with the following ISBN# 9780820566153 since you want the three-ring binder with a one-year subscription, especially since Chapter 31 will be having major changes in the near future. The cost is around $89.60. Delivery is normally 7-10 business days. This company indicates that there are limited copies available now so place your order quickly. Call me first before ordering your copy or doing anything so we can discuss your preparation. Keep in touch since prior students know that I teach because I love it and not for the money! No matter what, good luck on your exam! I truly hope to hear from you real soon. Please call Rich Groth at (609) 586-6376 now to discuss this program or send me an email to rgroth@optonline.net since your competition probably already has.
